We are the Somer Valley Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
From Farmborough we will walk through country lane to join the Salt Path for a short while to Stanton Prior. Turning south we walk up and over Pendown Hill to reach Priston. The return to Farmborough follows the evolving Radstock Ring. By nature of the geography of the locality we will be walking up and down hills a few times, but we walk at each individuals comfortable pace and gather on the top of the hills for a rest before heading on again. Of course, hills provide views!
Please bring a drink and a light picnic.
