Starting from the Great Pond, our walk will take us via Frensham Common, Spreakley, then gradually rising up to Batts Corner before returning down to the River Wey and back onto Frensham Common. Some areas can be muddy, particularly, along the River Wey, especially if we have had recent wet weather.
There is a cafe and toilets at the start and end of the walk for refreshments. We will include a 15 minute break for refreshments on the walk, so please bring a drink and snack and plenty of water, especially if the weather is hot. As a visitor, if you wish to join this walk do make sure you are fit enough for the pace and terrain and have the right footwear and clothing for the walk. Walking boots/shoes and wet weather clothing is advisable if it is likely to be wet. You can contact Farnham & District Ramblers Group or the leader if in doubt. https://www.farnhamramblers.org.uk/walks-programme.html. Dogs on leads most welcome.
