Fenny Lock and Caldecotte Lake Loop

Starting from Ashland’s Lakes Car Park we will follow the Grand Union Canal to Fenny Lock and then follow the edge of Caldecotte Lake on the East side and return to Ashland’s Lakeside Community Centre for a picnic lunch followed by the MK Ramblers Annual General Meeting. The walk is a gentle walk along mainly level footpaths. Please wear appropriate clothing for the weather on that day. We will stop for a drink break half way around the walk so please bring a drink with you. Please bring a picnic type lunch with you to have at the Community Centre after the walk. We will provide tea and coffee and biscuits. Because we are starting and finishing at the Community Centre Carpark you can leave your lunch in the car. If the car park is full please park responsible on the adjacent roads. We hope that you will join us for the AGM afterwards. We welcome others that are not walking to join us for lunch and the AGM. New walkers are welcome to join us for all our walks. We will leave promptly at 10am, so please arrive 10 minutes before.
