Fillongley, Kinwalsey and Corley Moor.
Mick Beasley will lead an 8.2 mile walk starting at 10am from
Fillongley Recreation Ground,
Church Lane,
Fillongley,
Warwickshire. CV7 8EW.
Free parking at Fillongley Recreation Ground, Church Lane. If entering Fillongley from Nuneaton, just as you enter the village, Church Lane is on the left. If coming from Coventry, Church Lane is opposite the Manor House Pub in Fillongley.
Walking from Fillongley Recreation Ground we make our way through the village past the church.
We cross the Meriden Road and head cross country joining Pump Lane. Heading South West we pass a number of farms before crossing the M6.
We then make our way through Kinwalsey, heading for our lunch stop at the Red Lion in Corley, walking through the Heart of England Adventure Park (not open I'm afraid!) on the way.
After lunch we head back to Fillongley, crossing Corley Moor and the M6 again, before passing through Corley Ash and Fillongley Grange, back to our starting point.
Distance is circa 8.2 miles, dependent on weather and ground conditions.
Some wet sections and some mud, but we are walking in the winter!
