An accent to the summit of the little-walked outlying Arenig mountain of Foel Goch (611 m), south of Cerrigydrudion. A circular anticlockwise walk from Llangwm car park. The journey traverses over the moorland range following the Denbighshire / Merionethshire boundary and offers an opportunity for lovely views across those counties.
Being just over 2000ft, Foel Goch qualifies as a mountain but the walk is a moderate C grade and the steeper inclines will be done at one’s own pace.
The walk will be weather dependent so check if the walk should be cancelled the day before due to bad weather.
Walk distance 10.5 km.
