Following on from an enjoyable walk in August, Evan and Karen will lead another walk from the Compass Courtyard, this time going into a different direction.
We begin by gradually walking uphill along green trails eventually wending our way to the village of Littlebury Green. The walk leads us under a lovely tree tunnel alongside Bixett Wood before reaching the church at Strethall where we will have our morning break. We continue along fields before picking up the Icknield Way and making our way back to Littlebury Green. We then have a gentle descent on our return to the Compass Courtyard where we will have a well deserved (optional) lunch at the Mixing Shed cafe.
We depart at our normal 10 am time but please arrive no later than 9:45 am if you wish to order your lunch at the Mixing Shed Cafe. Coffee will be available for those that need an extra jolt of caffeine!
