Overview

A gentle stroll along firm and even woodland tracks with some informative explanations along the way about the coal mining industry that once thrived – and still exists – in the Forest of Dean. Not only does the walk pass through one of our most important ancient forests, but it also reveals the fascinating evidence of how people have worked with the woodland resources over many centuries.
