This walk - which crosses the footway on the Forth Road Bridge - offers great views of the Forth Estuary as well as the other two bridges. We will exit at the Southern Access for a coffee break at the Kiosk / toilets before retracing our steps and returning to the North Access. From there we head down two sets of steps making our way into North Queensferry and onto the Fife Coastal Path, passing Carlingnose Point Nature Reserve and Port Laing Beach (old WW1 seaplane base) before returning to Ferrytoll Bus Terminal. Suitable for all abilities - see below for shorter walk options.
Short Walk (2.6 miles): Ferrytoll - one way across bridge - bus back
Medium Walk (5.3 miles): Ferrytoll - both ways across bridge - walk straight back to Ferrytoll
Booking: If you’d like to join this walk please contact the walk leader at least 48 hours in advance to allow organisation of car sharing.
