8-mile walk from Foxton Locks, Leicestershire near Market Harborough.
Meet at the Foxton Locks long stay car park off Gumley Road near Foxton, LE16 7RY. Parking is £3 all day, pay on exit. There are toilets at the car park - note they are locked at 3pm but we will return via Foxton Locks itself where there are pubs.
Leaving the car park we go down into Foxton Locks itself, then across rollong farmland on an anti-clockwise circuit via the villages of Saddington, Mowsley and Laughton then back to Foxton Locks. Early-ish lunch and possible pub stop in Saddington. One or two sections of road walking to break up the fields. Pub / cafe at the end at Foxton Locks.
