Overview

A pleasant, circular walk via Moor Wood and Shillingridge Wood, stopping at Bovingdon Green / Marlow Common for a picnic lunch. Afternoon walk continues via Bottom Wood and Moor Common. The walk includes good scenic views, a good mix of woodland, open fields and some stiles. Generally good paths but may be muddy at this time of the year. This is a hilly walk and there are 3 steep ascents.

Please bring along a packed lunch and drinks for the day.

We will meet at Lane End Village Car Park.  Grid ref SU807918; postcode HP14 3ER. Please park at rear end of car park.   Free parking with toilets. 

Participants on this walk need to have suitable footwear and equipment and be able to walk the distance and terrain so please consider this before booking. If you are unsure then please contact the walk leader before booking to ascertain whether this walk is suitable for you.

The leader has set a limit of 20 walkers and requires you to book.
