We are the Watford & Three Rivers Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A circular walk from Harpenden along the Lea Valley (Swan walk) returning via the chapel ruins at Someries ‘Castle’. Then weaving our way to Peters Green for lunch and the opportunity to visit a pub. After lunch we will descend back to the start. Please bring a packed lunch and drink for the day.
Meet at Marquis Lane Car Park, Harpenden, AL5 4UJ. There is a small free car park but if full park along the street.
Participants on this walk need to have suitable footwear and equipment and be able to walk the distance and terrain so please consider this before booking. If you are unsure then please contact the walk leader before booking to ascertain whether this walk is suitable for you.
The leader has set a limit of 20 walkers and requires you to book.
