We are the Rochdale Ramblers. The Rochdale Group was established in October 1994 and are part of the Manchester and High Peak Area of the Ramblers Association. We welcome new and potential members to join our walks.

Overview

This is a leisurely walk exploring the countryside around Gawthorpe Hall taking in some parts of the Burnley Way. There are 3-4 stiles in the first half of the walk.

Gawthorpe Hall is open from 12 to 5 pm for anyone who wishes to visit after the walk - entry is free to National Trust members and £7 for non-members.  There is no charge for parking. Unfortunately there is no cafe!
