We are the Ramblers group for eastern Carmarthenshire. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
This walk starts and finishes at Gelli Aur Country Park, It is a circular walk that will take us along the southern slopes of the Tywi valley towards Dryslwyn passing through woods and fields, and then ascends to the top of the ridge with far-reaching views and finally, descends through a very pretty wood where refreshments will be available in Caffi Ceirw. Parking fee is a donation.
4 miles. If people want to do more they can always go for a stroll around Gelli Aur country park afterwards.
It’s a bit muddy in a couple of places and walking poles are highly recommended as there are a couple of steepish hills.
Not suitable for dogs, except assistance dogs.
