To remember Geoff Watts, our Treasurer for five years & Wednesday/Coach/Holiday walker/leader/friend for many more years, we are planning various versions of the "Ridley Round". Brentwood walkers/anyone is very welcome. See longer/shorter/no-walk options.
This is an adapted "medium" version of the "Ridley Round" - 10 miles, starting at Littley Green. The route is occasionally on the Essex Way and Saffron Trail with some road walking and field crossings. Long morning with a picnic lunch at Great Waltham. Drinks at The Stores. Short afternoon returning via Howe Street. We hope to arrive for a drink with the long, short and non-walkers at the Compasses at 4 pm.
