We are the Ramblers group for eastern Carmarthenshire. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Seeking the quiet of the mountainside below Tair Carn Isaf , we ascend above the bustle of the Amman Valley on farmland trails. Expansive views unfold as we skirt the Black Mountain to reach the tranquillity at the head of Cwm Pedol: inviting our lunch stop. To return, following Nant Pedol down the cwm as it seeks the River Amman, and the accompanying Amman Valley Cycleway back to our start.
Stout footwear required: some rough farmland paths and mountain tracks.
