A circular walk around Glen Sherup, taking in the tops of Innerdownie, Whitewisp hill and Tarmangie. On a clear day, we will have excellent views over the Ochils and beyond.
This is a strenuous walk over open hills. The walk starts on good tracks but is mainly on grassy paths. Once on the hill there is little shelter so be prepared for all conditions.
Local grade: B RADO.
There is a sustained, fairly steep pull up to the top of Innerdownie, the walk is easier from there.
The Ochils are likely to be wet and boggy even if it has not rained recently. Poles and gaiters are strongly recommended.
Note the walk won’t go ahead if the forecast is really poor.
Please book with walk leader at least 2 days before the walk.
