Overview

Condense cars and drive to Falls of Truim carpark, situated just off the A9 on the road to Crubenmore (NN 681 922). This varied walk visits the Falls of Truim before following old tracks through an area of sheep grazing and pleasant forestry for a circuit of Glen Truim woods taking in the Centre of Scotland Stone and the Ewan Mcpherson Memorial at Shanvall before taking a short climb to an excellent viewpoint with vistas of Strathspey to the north and Laggan to the west. Return to the cars along tracks skirting the imposing Cruban Beag. On return, there’s the option to swim in the beautiful pool above the Falls of Truim.
