We are the Leeds Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Starting in Goldsborough village we will walk through woodland and across fields until we reach Ribston Hall. Here we walk around the hall crossing the Nidd over a bridge and through the impressive gateway. When we cross the field we'll be able to look back at the impressive hall and Knights Templar chapel. From here, we make our way into the village,cross the road and continue our walk across field and woodland. When we get back almost to Knaresborough, we'll stop for a coffee break at the Riverside Cafe, after which we'll make our way back to Goldsborough.
Possible but not easy by public transport. You need to get a bus to St James Retail Park. The 1A from Harrogate stand 10 at 9.15 takes about half an hour. From the retail park you have to walk just over a mile to reach Goldsborough. A bridleway , Mill Road, off the B6164 Wetherby Rd .
