Gomshall 6 mile circular

We meet at Gomshall Mill car park – please park at far end and car share where possible.
We cross the A25 and walk up on to the North Downs climbing 397ft over 0.8 of a mile through well marked footpaths to join the North Downs Way walking eastwards before stopping for coffee break and views at Blatchford Down. We then leave the North Downs Way with a steep descent southwards (437ft over 0.4 mile) crossing the North Downs Line and joining the Abinger Nature Trail through rolling countryside and woods before crossing the A25 at Wotton estate ponds. The final circa 1/3 of the walk is through a mixture of bridle paths, sunken paths and across fields before arriving back at the Gomshall Mill car park.
