Overview

Starting from the Nidd Gorge car park the walk heads back along the north bank to Knaresborough for a banana break at the castle.  We carry on down river using the 'high route' via St Robert's Chapel, until we arrive at the cafe for lunch.  Then it's upstream to Gallows Hill and back to the car park.

Note we use a Booking system. Please contact the Walk leader to book a Place.

Nidd Gorge car park is located about 1.5 miles from Knaresborough on the left hand side along the Ripley Road. It's free (at time of writing) but small, so car sharing would be useful.
