Overview

Forget the mud and join me on this relatively flat walk exploring the other side of Gosport to where we normally walk. From the large free car park in St Helier Road we soon reach the coast and join the England coast path passing by the Explosion Museum en route to our coffee stop and facilities at the benches near the Gosport ferry. After a little more of the coast path we loop back via Walpole Park and the Cockle ponds. We pass the old Gosport railway station and a Victorian post box before re-tracing our steps back to the car park.
