We are the Balerno Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
From Saughton Park onto Water of Leith walkway to Roseburn. Pick up cycle track to Blinkbonny Crescent and into Ravelston Woods through to exit to Corstorphine Hill, passing Clermiston Tower, Rest and Be Thankful and descending to exit to Balgreen Rd. Through to Carrick Knowe Golf Course to Balgreen Tram Stop and back to Saughton Park.
This walk is by the side of the Water of Leith, through local nature reserves, along old railway lines and short passages of residential areas. On surfaced paths, cycle track and short sections of road pavements. Four flights of steps. Options to leave walk on several bus routes.

Arrive at Pentland View Carpark in Currie at 9:20, ready to start the walk at 9:30. This carpark is off Lanark Road West in Currie and if using public transport, a No44 Lothian Bus will stop at bus stops here in both directions. This bus passes along Princes St from Wallyford to Balerno
