Overview

This is a leisurely, but very scenic, walk along the edge of the Firth of Forth. We walk from the historic Blackness Castle along woodland paths, parallel with the Firth of Forth shoreline, to Midhope Castle situated in the estate grounds of Hopetoun House. We return along an inland parallel route with views across rolling farmland.
