Following the Manchester Green Trail stage 8 from Chorlton Bus station to Alexandra Park, this short Urban walk, will start off through an urban park, then following Chorlton Brook to the tram line to meet the Fallowfield Loop line. A stretch of road walking to end up in Alexandra Park.
There are no stiles but the stretch of the path alongside Chorlton Brook, which is narrow, uneven and can be muddy, means the path is neither wheelchair accessible or pushchair friendly. It is family friendly with quite a lot for children to see and do along the route.

Unfortunately the cafe in Alex Park is not open on a Monday so there are not toilets or refreshments available. Bring a flask.
Chorlton Bus Station, Barlow Moor Road, Chorlton, there are a range of buses - 23, 25, 86, 85 - that go to Chorlton Bus station and the tram goes to Barlow Moor Road or Chorlton. At the end of the walk the 85 bus goes from Alexandra Road and the 101,102,103 and 728 go along Princess Parkway.
Alexandra Park Café. Bus back to Chorlton or in to Manchester, 85.
