Overview

Circular walk approx 6.5 miles with a strenuous climb towards the end. Assistance dogs only.

We will begin with a short climb onto Great Ayton Moor to the north of the car park, and follow a moorland track to Percy Cross Rigg. From there we'll descend through New Row to Kildale. We then follow the Cleveland Way northwards, turning onto the permissive path through the woods past the waterfall. We then begin a fairly strenuous climb up through the woods and then on open moorland to Captain Cook's Monument on Easby Moor. From there it's a straightforward descent to the car park.
