Overview

Through Guilsfield village to Gaer Fawr (Woodland Trust reserve), catching the bluebell displays. Short steady climb up to and through Gaer Fawr Hill to the Iron Age hillfort, then easy paths and lanes. Returning via Trawscoed.

Guilsfield Sports Ground Car Park (football club, cricket ground etc), Ffordd Mytton, Guilsfield. Take Llanfair Caereinion road from village centre. Ffordd Mytton is approx. 200m on left opposite the Oak pub and signed for sports facilities.
