Overview

A fairly leisurely walk across fields and woodland from Powys Castle down to the Montgomery canal and back via Welshpool. There maybe a few stiles but most have been replaced with kissing gates.

Bring your own refreshments, we should arrive at the Castle with plenty of time to visit the gardens, which should be looking at their best. If you have a National Trust Membership, bring your card if you want to visit the castle and gardens.
