We are the Worcester Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Starting in Habberley Valley Nature Reserve we will explore the surrounding countryside. Within view of Kidderminster, yet a world away, the walk will take us through a peaceful variety of heath, woodland, pasture, and farm tracks, passing stunning views, a bubbling brook and ancient rock houses along your way.
Arrive in plenty of time as the car park is sometimes busy with dog-walkers cars. Please bring a drink and snack for a mid morning break plus a packed lunch.
NB: Bewdley is operating a one way system due to bridge works. Do not approach Habberley through Bewdley town. Please use the bypass and allow a few minutes extra.
The walk is nearer to 9 miles rather than the advertised 8 miles, If this is difficult for anyone, please tell me at the start of the walk.
Off B4190 Bewdley to Wolverley Road. Turn off at the brown sign for Habberley Valley Local Nature Reserve and follow the track all the way to the car park on the right.
