These walks explore the countryside areas in Lancashire and Greater Manchester. This walk is a mixture of woodland and canal side. Mostly on hard paths

Unfortunately, due to staff shortages the Crown Hotel, WN2 1DP. will not be serving lunches this week. You are welcome to park in the pub car park 7mins walk from the start of the walk if you are going into the pub after the walk for a drink.otherwise street parking on main road shortly after the walk start point (towards Wigan) or off the main road opposite the Crown PH.
