Overview

For the Hambleden walk we will meet at the coach at the railway station car park prompt at 14:00.  The coach will take us on a very short drive to Hambleden and drop us off at the car park a short distance south of the village.  We will walk to Hambleden and allow people to wonder through the village for a short period of time before returning to the coach stop.

Hambleden is an achingly pretty village.  It is in the Domesday Book and there are some Roman remains too.  Famous for the birthplace of Lord Cardigan (that one).  Jon Lord of Deep Purple is buried in the church.
