Overview

The Walk starts at the Motte and Bailey pub in Pirton and starts with a short steep climb up to Deacon Hill with lovely views over the Chilterns. We then make our way past a nature reserve before descending to Pegsdon village. There is then another small climb (with steps) before joining the path back down to Pirton. Walking poles would be  good for the climbs.
