Overview

Walking from the Nottinghamshire village of Harby and crossing into Lincolnshire, the walk is fairly flat and is  along good paths through open countryside and through a wooded area. There are no stiles. We cross two short stretches of ploughed fields so walking boots are needed.

There will be the usual stops for 'coffee' and lunch , so bring some provisions.

The walk starts from The Bottle and Glass public house which opens at 9 am for breakfast/hot drinks. If you are going early to take advantage of this please check their website in case of any time changes .

Please register for this walk on Newark Ramblers website where you will also find details of our car share scheme.
