A gentle walk along the north bank of the Thames taking in some iconic London landmarks such as the Tower of London and Tower Bridge. There will be an opportunity to stop for a drink at The Prospect of Whitby, one of London's oldest pubs.
We'll take a tube from Kings Cross to London Bridge to start the walk, and there will be a chance to catch a river boat back to London Bridge at the end.
Walk limited to 12 people.
We will leave Newark on the 10.55 train from Newark Northgate and return by the 18.03. Please book your own train tickets in advance. There will be some time for a bit of sight-seeing or shopping at Canary Wharf and or Kings Cross/St Pancras. It will be possible to catch an earlier train if preferred.
There will be a short lunch break at Kings Cross before we start the walk. There are lots of places to buy lunch or bring your own.
Please register for this walk on Newark Ramblers website where you will also find details of our car share scheme.
