We are the Southwell Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Along the lower edge of Hardwick Country Park, through the villages of Astwith and Stainsby, past the National Trust's 19th century water mill. Excellent views of Hardwick Hall
Please contact the Leader to let them know that you are coming on the walk. Please leave your name, contact telephone number and email address. Please also state whether you intend going to the designated meeting place or directly to the start of the walk. This will help ensure that you are not left behind. This should not be regarded as “booking a place”.
If you later find that you cannot come on the walk, please notify the Leader as soon as possible in order that the group is not waiting for you to arrive on the day.
There will be a refreshment stop so bring a snack and drink. You may also like to bring a packed lunch which may be eaten either during the walk or at the end depending on our progress.
