A short steady incline brings us to the top of Robin Hood Hill, an ancient hillock with amazing views, down then to walk across the nearby Oldox camp, a settlement possibly 3000 years old, before returning along a quiet country lane and the path downhill to the start.

Please contact the Leader to let them know that you are coming on the walk. Please leave your name, contact telephone number and email address. Please also state whether you intend going to the designated meeting place or directly to the start of the walk. This will help ensure that you are not left behind. This should not be regarded as "booking a place".
If you later find that you cannot come on the walk, please notify the Leader as soon as possible in order that the group is not waiting for you to arrive on the day.
There will be a refreshment stop, so bring a drink, and of course there's the chance of refreshment in The Green Dragon pub at the end.
Looking forward to your company on this pleasant walk.
