Overview

From Harkstead we will walk along a mix of field paths and quiet lanes and parts of the Stour and Orwell path to Erwarton, where we will have our apple stop, probably in the grounds of the church which has lovely views across the estuary.  We will then head for the river path and follow it almost all the way to Harkstead, before heading inland and retracing the first part of our route to the car park.
