Walking via the SDW to Coulter's Dean, Ditcham Park, Eckensfield and Compton returning via Bevis' Thumb. Please bring refreshments for coffee and lunch stops. Some undulations, mostly before lunch and one steep chalky descent, may be slippery if wet so poles could come in handy.
Recced on 25 August, South Harting Rd from centre of Petersfield currently closed. Alternative route via West Marden/Compton.
