Overview

A circular walk along lanes, bridleways and paths, across sloping meadows and a rocky river bed. There are gentle gradients with the most strenuous being as we leave Hartington. There are also gates and some squeeze stiles to negotiate. Walking poles recommended because the limestone underfoot is uneven and it can be very slippery when wet..
