Overview

Walking towards Thorpe then along river to Ilam Hall then up the hill to Blore and back down hill to Mapleton. Joint walk with Sandwell Ramblers and Wolverhampton Ramblers.

We leave the meeting point in Walsall promptly at 08:45am.  The start time is the time the actual walk is due to start.
We regret we cannot allow dogs other than assistance dogs on weekend Walsall Group walks.
Personal medication, e.g. asthma inhalers and angina sprays, must be carried by the walkers themselves.
All walkers should carry an ICE card or a contact number in case of emergency.
Booking is not necessary for this walk.
Walkers will need a packed lunch.

Mapleton Road, Mapleton, Ashbourne, Derbyshire. A515 to Ashbourne then A52 towards Leek. After crossing river turn R (signed Mapleton) then R at T junction and R again onto main street. Park on main road either side of Okeover Arms. Do NOT use pub car park.
