A mostly level 8 mile walk, with one gradual incline towards the end - no stiles. We cross the attractive, sandy heathland of Hartlebury Common, with views over the Severn Valley towards Leapgate Country Park where we walk along the disused Stourport to Worcester branch railway line through deep cuttings.
Joining the Staffordshire and Worcestershire Canal tow path, we walk through the eighteenth century canal town of Stourport-on-Severn to join the Severn Way. We leave the riverside path at Lincomb Lock, returning across the common to the car park.
Please contact the walkmleader if you would like to join this walk.
