Overview

A beautiful coastal walk from Hastings to Eastbourne passing historic places such as Bexhill, Pevensey (where the Normans landed), Normans Bay and the Eastbourne seafront. Toilets and shops should be available, but please bring packed lunch. Drop out is available in Pevensey, for Pevensey and Westham Station.

The walks finishes at Eastbourne Pier; the station is 10 minutes' walk up the main road away from there.

Travel: Take 9:15 from London Charing Cross (London Bridge 09:24, Orpington 09:39), arrive Hastings 10:47.

Buy a return to Hastings and a single from Eastbourne to St Leonards Warrior Square for the return leg.
