Overview

This section starts off alongside the Wye before passing through the rolling territory of the Powys – Herefordshire border. The route lies across Little Mountain, then following the outstanding former drovers' road Red Lane to the remote hamlet of Newchurch. Next crossing Disgwylfa Hill before reaching The Royal Oak at Gladestry.
