This village in the High Peak District is a good starting point to climb up to Kinder Scout, or visit Kinder Reservoir. Lower level walks could take you over towards New Mills or Birch Vale and the Pennine Bridleway. With toilets available at the coach park, and pubs and cafes available for refreshments on your return, this makes it an excellent area to visit.
