Overview

A varied walk on good paths with no stiles. Park in the free car park at Heartwood Forest and meet near the Woodhenge thingy (you'll know it when you see it). We will go anticlockwise towards Nomansland, with possible coffee and toilet stop at West End Barns, then over to the edge of Harpenden before turning south towards Langley Wood. The first bluebells are out.

BRITISH SUMMER TIME starts 31 March. The living is easy; fish are jumping, and the cotton is high. Clocks go forward.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS this is walk 245 from the excellent Hertfordshire Walker site https://www.hertfordshirewalker.uk/2023/10/walk-245-nomansland-south-loop.html, where you will find a detailed walk description. You can download GPX or KML from that site. Note that 245 starts at Nomansland but we are starting at Heartwood.
