A moderate walk from Brinklow castle (earthworks which you can climb), along the Oxford canal, over the Avon, through fields, some quiet roads, passing through Church Lawford and past church remains at Kings Newnham. There is a slight incline at the beginning of the walk and poles may be useful after rain.
Coffee stop along the canal
Picnic lunch will be at The Old Smithy in Church Lawford where you can buy food/drinks and use the toilets. The landlady has said we are welcome to use her exterior tables for our lunch.
