Overview

A 5 mile easy walk around Sandwell Valley, looking at the New Floodplain, WW2 tank firing holes, Gun Emplacements, Sand-wells, Priory and Hall, as well as the Lakes, and Ha-ha. There will be a brief history talk at each section.

From Scott Arms junction take A4031 towards West Bromwich. L at the traffic lights (RSPB signpost on R of dual carriageway ) into Hamstead Rd, then R by school into Tanhouse Avenue. L into RSPB Sandwell Valley. Park just inside the gates.
