Overview

This walk takes in the easternmost end of the Chilterns - we begin in Letchworth Garden City, following the Icknield Way before climbing Deacon Hill. We'll then traverse various woods and fields, enjoying an afternoon pub stop in Great Offley. The walk will finish by descending to the market town of Hitchin, where we'll finish in a hostelry for pints and pizza. Please bring a packed lunch.

Terrain: Hills, woods, fields

Travel: Take 9:29 from London King's Cross (9:32 Finsbury Park), arr. Letchworth Garden City 10:19. Buy return to Letchworth Garden City.
