Join the friendly Amersham group of Ramblers for an afternoon walk in the Chilterns . Our walk starts from the layby on the A355 towards Beaconsfield, opposite to Harte and Magpies pub. We climb into the magical Hodgemoor woods initially. Then we folllow the bridle path towards Knotty Green; passing the fields, crossing the busy A355, entering into Great Bear's wood. We go past further woods and fields as we return to where we started and cross the A355 once more before reaching our car.
Magical woods, muddy and slippery paths, no stiles, dogs on lead welcome.
