The walk starts at Hornbeam Park Station, Harrogate. It is mostly on tracks and field paths with a few busy roads and a railway line to cross. It is an up and down walk and in places there are a couple of short but steep descents to cross dry stream beds so poles may be useful. There are also many stiles and long grass in places and animals in some fields. We pass through the beautiful Crimple valley with views of the viaduct and Arncliffe Crag between Kirby Overblow and Pannal. No dogs please.
