Helping everyone to 'see' the Kent countryside.
Tonbridge and Malling Ramblers, will be guiding the London Blind Ramblers (LBR) along the route. We hope you will join us on what is sure to be a great day for all. Your help and support in guiding the LBR members, who are all regular Ramblers, will be greatly appreciated.
The walk is 7.5 miles, a mix of quiet country lanes and footpaths. Upon leaving Borough Green we head towards Basted Mill and across country to Dux Green, Plaxtol Spoute taking in some great views across the Bourne Valley. We continue onto Dunks Green and the Kentish Rifleman where we will stop for a picnic lunch on the green and have a drink and use the toilets. Please bring your own picnic.
The return takes us along the lanes to Plaxtol and Yopps Green and through the orchards and footpaths back to our starting point. We expect to be back around 4pm at the latest. We had 10 London ramblers who live with sight loss join us last year. They enjoyed it so much they have asked us to host them again this year.
The walking surfaces are all suitable for our hosts. There are several stiles and a few modest ascents and descents. If it is wet, please do bring poles as it is likely to be muddy in some places.

Parking at Borough Green station is £4.00 all day, the alternative is the Western Road car park TN15 8AL nearby at £3.50 for 9 hours (cash or Ringo 51196).
